Nevins Street

Brooklyn-based graphic designer, creative leader, motion designer, maker & strategic collaborator.

I’m a graphic designer specializing in motion graphics and video production, building on years of experience in digital and print art direction. As the senior graphic designer at Con Edison for the past ten years, I have created vibrant, informative visuals for public service campaigns, social media outreach, and internal communications.

After years as a designer for big-name clients including Clinique, Cartier, and Moët Hennessy, and in the nonprofit space, working at the Anti-Defamation League (combating anti-Semitism) and Safe Horizon (supporting survivors of domestic violence), I pursued a Masters degree in Communication Design at the Pratt Institute. While there, I won the prestigious Taconic Fellowship, which allowed me to work with New York City Councilmember Brad Lander on the Bridging Gowanus redevelopment project for the evolving neighborhood. My work involved data visualization and interactive maps to help community stakeholders communicate their needs to government officials, culminating in a presentation to Mayor Bill DeBlasio.

When not staring at a computer screen, I’m usually on the basketball courts or riding my bicycle through the streets of Brooklyn with my wife and son.
